Nick Gauntlett

Nick Gauntlett FBHS and Fellow of the BHS and British Eventing Master Coach. He is a Category A Event Rider with numerous 3* and 4* completions under his belt. Nick wears a Helite Original Air jacket and Treehouse colours.

Update **** January 2020 ****

"2019 was a busy year. Our stallion Party Trick won his Intermediate at Bicton Arena. I jumped some huge fences at Hartpury and rode Hickstead. I raced Newbury Racecourse on Neil Mulholland's horse in the British Horse race"

Alongside his successful riding career Nick has also developed a successful training base for young National and International riders at his yard near Badminton in South Gloucestershire. He is passionate about Coaching and the Development of the sport, he has stood on the BE Sports Committee and is a BHSI and BE accredited coach.

Nick's Top tip...
"I like to go and hire show jumping courses the day after a show while the course it's still build. It lets you have a practice and perfect your performance before you add the pressure of a competition.
I also try very hard to get the horses to somewhere on grass before their 1st competition of the year - ideally to Show jump but just to do some relaxed circles- this can really help when you get to the first event".
