Izzy Caldwell

Treehouse Brand Ambassador

Hi, my name is Izzy Caldwell and I am a 14 year old dressage rider from Cheshire. I have been riding since I was two and I was showing until I was 8 having competed at multiple BSPS championships and winning the tiny tots working hunter pony national championship. I joined BD youth and started competing at novice level and that year I went to the home international and competed for England where I came 7th overall. I have been selected for many of the inter-regional competitions and home internationals having top ten placings each time.

Now I have my young horse Marco and my pony Kestrel. Kestrel has taken me up to medium level from novice and elementary. We have been a partnership for over two years now. Last year we started competing at premier leagues, doing the FEI Pony tests and have had top ten placings at all the competitions. We were placed 4th at the U21 medium silver national winter championships. Most recently we competed at the Home International where we came 2nd in the FEI pony class 

We have just competed at my first international competition at Keysoe CDI for GB. We finished seventh in the FEI pony individual competition 

My other horse is Marco. He is five years old. He is competing novice level scoring 70+ and has qualified for the winter regional championships He is currently being ridden by professional rider Sarah Higgins who is helping me to progress him in his training from novice to elementary and medium level. 

I hope to have a successful rest of the year with them and carry on achieving our goals next year.
