Treehouse's New Team Rider - Isabella Caldwell.
Isabella Caldwell is only 10 years old but has already represented England at the British Young Riders Dressage Scheme 2017 Home International competition where she finished seventh overall. She has also represented the North West BYRDS team in inter-regional competitions and achieved a first and second place in the Pet Plan Area Festival at Novice / Prelim Under 18 level. She was chosen as Fledgling (under 12) Rider of the Year in the North West BYRDS awards in December. She has recently qualified for the novice winter dressage regional championships and has had numerous placings in the BSPS Heritage Championships.
In 2016 Izzy was a member of the Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club team that won the grass roots championships and was also the BSPS Winter Tiny Tots Working Hunter pony champion.
Her aims for 2018 include being reselected for the England and North West BD Youth teams and to qualify for the national winter dressage championships. She also wants to complete qualification for the summer regional championships at novice and elementary level. Her ultimate ambition is to be selected to ride for the British Pony Team at the European Championships.
She has three ponies at home working at novice to medium level and loves helping out on the family yard. As well as dressage she is in training for the 2018 pony racing season with her elder brother and looking forward to competing in the novice riders series.
