Treehouse Sporting Colours was established in 1999 by Theresa McCurrich. The inspiration for the company came from 6 long days spent on the Trans-Siberian Railway to Mongolia!

As a keen horsewoman, Theresa was a committed member in the Worcestershire Pony Club and represented them in the show jumping and eventing teams. After taking her BHS AI examination and after studying for a degree in geography, Theresa returned to the horse world once more! As well as training and riding point to pointers and a year's spell as secretary for a racehorse trainer, it was time for a new challenge, to help fund the point to pointers!!

Theresa saw a niche in the market for designing and selling fun and original x-country colours based on racing designs for both kids and adults. The company went from strength to strength and exhibited at all the major county shows and horse trials until the year of foot and mouth struck! Cancelled shows and the countryside at a standstill meant that Treehouse went to sleep for a while and Theresa did a teacher training course in secondary geography!

2003 saw the re-launch of Treehouse and it enjoyed a fantastic show season, meeting many old customers and scores of new ones. As well as x-country colours, Treehouse has branched out and specialises in selling body protectors as well as racing silks and a range of leisure wear. Using Theresa's knowledge and experience not only as an event rider, point to point jockey and BHS qualified Pony Club instructor Treehouse offers an expert and individual service to all.
